Announcing The Standards Symposium: IPC-1754

The Association Connecting Electronics Industries (IPC) will soon publish the new Materials and Substances Declaration for the Aerospace and Defense, Heavy Equipment and Other Industries standard. Better known as IPC-1754, the standard is an XML template companies can use to respond to requests for declarable substance lists (DSLs).

As a result, Assent Compliance has announced a new conference so professionals operating in the aerospace and defense, and heavy equipment fields can hear from industry leaders about the impact the standard will have on their businesses. The Standards Symposium: IPC-1754 will be held on May 24, 2018.

Speakers include Walter Jager, Principal Consultant at EDC Compliance and Co-Chair of the IPC-1754 development committee, and James Calder, Assent’s Vice President of Compliance and Regulatory Programs, who will provide valuable information on how to smoothly transition to the new standard.

Attendees will receive an overview of the new standard, learn why the standardized approach is so important, discuss best practices moving forward and more.

This comprehensive, one-day conference will be held at Loews Chicago on May 24, 2018.
