When Apple recently shipped the Iphone 6, it didn’t ship in China. This was because the
phone had received regulatory approval for use on domestic frequencies but still required one more licence – for network access – before it was / will be allowed to be sold in China. At Assent we got an influx of question from our readers about how exactly a company can “sell a cell” into different markets from a compliance perspective.
