The U.S. Department of State’s Anti-Human Trafficking Guidance: What You Need to Know [WEBINAR]

Anti-human trafficking compliance and risk management programs are fast becoming essential initiatives, particularly for companies with U.S. Federal Contracts captured under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). The release of this framework emphasizes that it is time for companies to develop due diligence programs that help them assess and mitigate risks in their supply chains.

The recently released Responsible Sourcing Tool, a framework funded by the U.S. Department of State, was developed in partnership by the U.S. Department of State’s Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons, Verité, Made in a Free World and the Aspen Institute. It provides companies with a resource to begin to develop their anti-human trafficking compliance and risk management programs. However, this framework is only the first step.
